WIN-STREAK SNAPPED; BATAVIA DROPS IN TOUGH MERCY VS AMERICANS 15-4
June 20, 2026
NIAGARA FALLS, NY- Your Muckdogs did not look like themselves whatsoever in this one.
They would start hot, as Evan Brock would hit a sac-fly to score Jalen David, but this one would
turn ugly quick. In the bottom of the 2 nd , Nick Paszt would hit a grand slam, followed by a bases-
loaded hit-by-pitch, a 2 RBI single from Colin Price, and a second 2 RBI single from Xander
Clark, making the score 9-1 at the end of the 2 nd . It would not get better for Batavia, as in the 3 rd a
bases-loaded walk would score Nick Paszt, followed by a wild pitch scoring Anthony Savino,
and a Matt Ganschow 2 RBI single, resulting in a 13-1 score after 3 innings. Your Muckdogs
would put 3 runs on the board in the 4 th inning from a Myles Monell sac-fly, a Glenn Brooks RBI
single, and a Braeden Eye RBI single, making the score 13-4, however Niagara Falls would
score two more in the bottom of the 6 th and proceed to shut out your Muckdogs in the top of the
7 th , ending the game via mercy rule with a final score of 15-4.
Offensively, the Americans woke up compared to yesterday. Nick Paszt went 2 for 4 with a home
run, 4 RBIs, and 2 runs; Colin Price went 1 for 2 with 3 runs, 2 RBIs, a walk, and a stolen bag;
Matthew Ganschow went 1 for 3 with 3 RBIs and 2 runs; and Xander Clark went 1 for 2 with 2
RBIs and a run. As for your Muckdogs, they were not as offense heavy as they have been in
earlier games, as this is the least they have scored in a game all season. Evan Brock, Glenn
Brooks, Myles Monell, and Braeden Eye all had RBIs. Sadly, Evan Brock’s hit streak has ended
after 10 games.
Aiden Mroz picks up the W in this on, pitching all 7 innings while striking out 4. Landon
Stoddard takes the L, throwing 1.2 IP with 1 K. No save was registered.
The Batavia Muckdogs will be home next tomorrow, Sunday, June 21 st at 4:05 PM and 6:30 PM
in a doubleheader against the Olean Oilers on our Postgame Catch Night! Get tickets by calling
