TANGO DOWN; MUCKDOGS BEAT OILERS 3-2 ON MILITARY APPRECIATION NIGHT

BATAVIA, NY- On the first game back home since the 13th, the Muckdogs welcomed back the

local fans with a win. The scoring waited all the way until the 5th when Braedon Reina hit a 2

RBI double, putting the Muckdogs up 2-0. Grant Fournier would put the Oilers on the board with

an RBI single, 2-1. Batavia would score on a passed ball, making the game 3-1. In the 9th, the

Oilers would score one on a Brayden Rader ground out, but would not score again, ending the

game in favor of the Muckdogs, 3-2.

Offensively for the Oilers, no one had a multi-hit game, but Brayden Rader and Grant Fournier

had an RBI a piece. For your Muckdogs, Jackson Inman went 2 for 3 with 2 stolen bags and a

walk, Cooper Romich in his comeback game after breaking his thumb went 2 for 3 with a walk,

and Braedon Reina went 1 for 4 with a double and 2 RBIs.

Noah Nix picks up his 2nd win of the season, throwing 6 innings allowing 1 earned on 3 hits,

striking out 8. Hudson Lacuessa takes his first L of the season, throwing 4.2 innings allowing 1

earned on 4 hits, striking out 7. Garrett Beaver picks up his 3rd save of the season.
