Rain Cancels Saturday’s Americans-Doubledays Matchup at Sal Maglie Stadium

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — Saturday night’s game between the Niagara Falls Americans and the

Auburn Doubledays at Sal Maglie Stadium has been canceled due to rain. No makeup date has

been announced.

The Americans will travel to Leo Pinckney Field at Falcon Park tomorrow to face the Auburn

Doubledays for a 4:00 first pitch. The game will serve as the rubber match of the season series,

with the two teams splitting the first two meetings.

The Americans will return home to Sal Maglie Stadium on Thursday, July 23, to square off

against Power City Athletics, a premier travel baseball team. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30

p.m., and it’s $2 Beer Night. The seven-inning exhibition game will not count toward the

Americans’ Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL) record.
