NEWARK, NY- Absolute domination happened last night. 21 up, 21 down, combo no hitter

action. Let me take you through it.

In the 1st, Evan Brock hit a sac-fly to score Jalen David, and Jackson Inman hit his own sac-fly

to score Braedon Reina. In the 2nd, Jalen David RBI single, Braedon Reina RBI single, Jackson

Inman 2 RBI double, and a Glenn Brooks RBI single. In the 3rd, Jalen David hit a sac-fly to left

scoring Mason Davey. In the 4th, Glenn Brooks hit an RBI single to score Evan Brock. In the

5th, Michael Whelehan walked in his first game back scoring Jalen David, and Glenn Brooks hit

a 2 RBI single. Joey Socorro hit an RBI double in the 6th, and Jeremy Ramos scored on a wild

pitch. Finally in the 7th, Jeremy Ramos hit an RBI single, Jacob Veczko scored. Finally, through

7 innings, this game ended at 17-0 after a combined no-hitter of Noah Nix, Garrett Beaver, and

Eric Woodley.

If I could, I would highlight players that stood out for Newark, however I cannot do so because

the Pilots recorded no hits. For you Muckdogs, Jalen David went 2 for 3 with 3 RBIs, 2 stolen

bags, 2 runs and a walk, Braedon Reina went 2 for 4 with 3 stolen bags, 3 runs, 2 RBIs and a

walk, Evan Brock went 2 for 2 with a stolen bag, 3 runs, 2 walks and an RBI, and Glenn Brooks

went 3 for 3 with 4 RBIs and a walk.

Noah Nix picks up his 3rd win of the season, throwing 5 innings of no-hit ball, striking out 3.

Larry Rodriguez loses his second of the year, throwing 4 innings of 2 strike out ball, allowing 9

runs (8 earned) on 11 hits. No save was registered.
