July 3, 2026
BATAVIA, NY- Your Muckdogs have kept the heat turned up high for the past three games,
scoring at least 8 in all three games. This one would get the scoring started in the bottom half of
the 3rd, when Jackson Inman would not only hit a 2 RBI single to right field, but give the fans in
the stands half off on Tully’s tenders, 2-0 ‘Dogs. Elmira would answer with two runs scored on
an E6 in the 4th, however Monell would make up for it by hitting an RBI single of his own, 3-2.
Brett Baker would take the game into his own hands, going yard over the right field wall for the
third homer let up in three straight games, 3-3 tie. From there, Batavia never looked back. The
Muckdogs would put up 7 runs on a Glenn Brooks 2 RBI triple in the 5th, a James Quintero RBI
single in the 5th, a Jalen Roque single to score Evan Brock in the 7th, Glenn Brooks stealing a
bag then scoring on an E2 in the 7th, Cooper Russell being hit by a pitch to drive in a run in the
8th, and Evan Brock grounding into a double play allowing for Jalen David to score in the 8th.
The only run the Pios would score after the 3rd would come in the 8th on a Jack Aylward no
doubt solo home run, but too little too late, your Muckdogs win 10-4.
