MUCKDOGS DROP 2ND STRAIGHT GAME VS TARP SKUNKS

June 3, 2026

BATAVIA, NY- The Muckdogs and Tarp Skunks both got out the gate hot, both dropping 2 runs in the 1^st inning. Both teams also scored in the 3^rd, Jamestown’s one run came from a Caleb Jordan ground out to 3^rd, and Batavia’s two runs came from a Luke Rybczynski single, in which runners advanced on an error by the left fielder. Batavia went back and forth all game, up until the top of the 10^th, where Jamestown would score the go ahead run on a Branson Linquist sac fly. Batavia would not be able to respond, as the Tarp Skunks would take this one 7-6.

Jamestown’s top offensive players today were Jackson Enders (2 for 3, 1 BB, 1 run, 1 SB) and Grant Moore (no official AB’s, 3 BBs, 2 runs, 2 SBs). As for Batavia, Luke Rybczynski went 2 for 4 with 2 RBIs, Evan Brock went 1 for 3 with a double, 1 run, 1 RBI and 1 BB, and Glenn Brooks, who went 1 for 4 with 2 runs and a SB.

Chase Beran picked up the win tonight, throwing 3 strong innings and striking out 6. Eric Woodly got credited with a loss, throwing 3 innings as well and striking out 3. No save had been earned tonight.
