MUCKDOGS ANNOUNCE 2026 SCHEDULE

Batavia, NY- The West Division Champion Batavia Muckdogs have released their 2026 schedule.   The PGCBL has officially released their league schedule as the Muckdogs look forward to another successful campaign.

The 2026 PGCBL schedule has been released with the Muckdogs home opener scheduled for Saturday May 30th at 6:35 PM vs the Elmira Pioneers with post game fireworks. The PGCBL continues to grow as the Olean Oilers will join the league in 2026.  The Niagara Canada Ironbacks joined in 2025 & with the addition of Olean the league will be up to 16 teams in 2026. Batavia will host 4 fireworks nights this season. The Muckdogs finished in first place in the West Division during 2025.  The Muckdogs then defeated the Auburn Doubledays & Jamestown Tarp Skunks in the playoffs to capture the 2025 West Division Championship, a feat Batavia accomplished in 2022 as well.  Batavia fell short of the league title vs the Saugerties Stallions here at Dwyer Stadium in August.  “This team has always been a winner since we took over in 2021.  We were close in 2022 and felt even closer in 2025 and that is because of our Manager Joey “Skip” Martinez.  We walk in parades, visit schools, have been waiters at local restaurants, you name it these players want to be part of the community.  Our great sponsors, season ticket holders, & local community groups who come to games are the real reason we get to put out such a great product on the field” – Owner Robbie Nichols
