JAMESTOWN, NY- Your Muckdogs look like themselves again when they took on Jamestown

for first place. Batavia got the run scoring started early, having Cooper Russell get hit by a pitch

to drive in Jackson Inman, Evan Brock scored on a wild pitch, Glenn Brooks hit an RBI single to

score Braedon Reina, and Cooper Russell & Glenn Brooks both scored on separate wild pitches,

making the score 5-0. Batavia would drop one more in the 3rd on a double steal, then another in

the 5th on a Braedon Reina sac-fly scoring Jackson Inman, 7-0 ‘Dogs. Jamestown would finally

get on the board with an Anthony Trommer RBI single to score Grant Moore, but the Muckdogs

would continue to run wild, scoring on a bases-loaded James Quintero walk, a Myles Monell

sac-fly, and a Jalen David RBI single, making the score 10-1. The Tarp Skunks would score

twice in the bottom of the 9th on an Anthony Trommer sac-fly and a Joaquin Rodriguez-Costa

RBI single, but it would not be enough, Muckdogs win 10-3.

Offensively for Jamestown, Grant Moore (2 for 4, run) and Anthony Trommer (2 for 3, 2 RBI)

stood out as they were the only ones for Jamestown that had multi-hit games. For your

Muckdogs, Braedon Reina went 1 for 2 with an RBI, 2 walks and 3 runs, Jalen David went 2 for

4 with an RBI, and Glenn Brooks went 2 for 3 with an RBI and a run.

Eric Woodley picked up his 4th win of the season, throwing 7 innings allowing 1 earned on 5

hits, striking out 4. Rocco Almonte takes his first L of the season, throwing 1 inning allowing 5

earned on 1 hit.
