ALL STAR TEAMS ANNOUNCED; BATAVIA & AMSTERDAM LEAD DIVISIONS WITH 9 EACH

BATAVIA, NY- The All-Star Teams were named today, showing that your 1st place in the West

Division Batavia Muckdogs are leading the West with 9 All-Stars.

The Muckdog infielders on the West Division All Stars are Evan Brock and Jackson Inman.

Brock has a .378 batting average through 98 at-bats, with 8 doubles, 2 triples, and a homer while

leading the league in RBIs with 39. Inman has a .423 batting average through 78 at-bats, with 8

doubles, a triple, and a homer with 22 RBIs.

The Muckdog outfielders on the West Division All Stars are Jalen David and Glenn Brooks. This

outfielder duo is explosive on the basepaths, as they are #1 (David) and #2 (Brooks) in stolen

bases at 31 and 27. David has a .378 batting average through 90 at-bats, with 2 doubles and 1

triple with 14 RBIs. Brooks has a .386 batting average through 88 at-bats, with 4 doubles, 5

triples, and 2 homers with 23 RBIs.

Cooper Romich has earned the honor as one of 3 catchers selected to the West Division All Star

Team. Romich has a batting average of .302 through 53 at-bats with 2 doubles and 10 RBIs.

Defensively, Romich has 142 putouts and has thrown out 4 runners.

The Muckdogs have 4 pitchers on the West Division All Stars, being Gavin Chandler, Eric

Woodley, Garrett Beaver, and Mason Davey. Chandler is 4-0 on the season in 5 starts. He has a

2.70 ERA through 33.1 IP; he has struck out 25 batters while allowing only 10 earned runs.

Woodley has a 3-1 record with 15 appearances out of the bullpen. He has a 1.85 ERA through

24.1 IP; he has struck out 34 batters while allowing only 5 earned runs and leads the entire

league in saves with 5. Beaver is 1-0 on the season with 13 appearances out of the bullpen. He

has a 1.37 ERA through 19.2 IP; he has struck out 35 batters while only allowing 3 earned runs

with 2 saves on the season. Last but certainly not least, Davey has a record of 2-0 through 4

starts (7 total appearances). He has a 1.59 ERA through 22.2 IP; he has struck out 29 batters

while allowing only 4 earned runs.
