8 STRAIGHT WINS; MUCKDOGS CONTINUE TO STEAMROLL, BEAT AMERICANS 6-1

BATAVIA, NY- The Muckdogs continued their role of beating down on their opponents in their

8 th straight win. This one started, however, on the other end of an RBI triple from the Americans’

Colin Price. Batavia would answer in the bottom of the 1 st when Cooper Romich would give the

people of Batavia half-off on their Tully’s tenders when he hit an RBI single, driving in Glenn

Brooks. From there, your Muckdogs wouldn’t look back, as Kyle Vaughn would hit an RBI

single of his own in the 2 nd to make the game 2-1. Glenn Brooks would keep in going in the 2 nd as

well as he hit a sac-fly that scored Jalen Roque, Jalen David would hit an RBI single to drive in

Kyle Vaughn, and Jackson Inman would join the RBI single party as he would drive in Jalen

David, making the score 5-1 at the end of 2 innings. Fast forward to the bottom of the 8 th , where

Cooper Russell would add to the lead with yet another RBI single, making the score 6-1. After

lock-down pitching from Jake Szlis, a retuning Noah Nix, Logan Thomas, and Garrett Beaver,

your Muckdogs would beat the Niagara Falls Americans 6-1.

Offensively for the Americans, Colin Price stood out, going 2 for 4 with a triple and an RBI. For

your Muckdogs, Jackson Inman went 2 for 4 with an RBI, Cooper Romich went 2 for 4 with a

double, run and an RBI, Cooper Russell went 2 for 2 with a double, walk, and stolen base, and

Glenn Brooks went 1 for 2 with 2 stolen bases, a walk, and a run. Evan Brock would extend his

hit streak to 10 games with a single in the bottom of the 2 nd .

A returning Noah Nix earned the win in this one, pitching 2 innings while striking out 2 and

allowing no runs to cross. Josh Kandefer picks up the L for this game, throwing 3 IP with 6 Ks.

No save was registered.
